Off Topic... guilty...

With the recent revelation that almost everyone inexplicably likes Lady Gaga, I've decided to throw up some guilty pleasures. Music I can not explain why I like it, but normally dislike every other song by the same artist.

Pink - So What
Originally I heard this performed by a dude, and that made it better. Pink is always within sight of rocking, but just can't quite make it all the way.

Wheatus - Teenage Dirtbag
His voice is annoying. The video is honestly not the best. Why do I listen? Iron Maiden reference? Happy ending? It's a similar concept to Girl All The Bad Guys Want.

I was gonna do more, but it's bed time.

Ever take would be a cool shot if the right thing were in focus? That's what the last two really represent. In the hustle to capture a moment, I focus too far away. It doesn't happen often, but it always frustrates me when it does. K.B. was swaggering, and I just don't have the opportunity to capture swaggering often enough. So I took a nice clear picture of the cars behind her. Poo! And Ben just learned the double thumbs up. It's so hard to take a picture of a child in motion. He's all over the place.

This is one of a series of photos I'm gonna throw up on Facebook. The item in the center is an eyepiece for an old camera. It slides into the flash shoe on top, and you look thru it to aim the camera. The view thru it shows two rectangles, a tele-view and a wide-view. The coatings on its lens make it awesomely reflective.

I thought this was a cool shot. I would have taken this shot even without P365. I didn't think about the lighting, though, until editing. When I was drawing my hand, my hand was lit by the kitchen lights. When I took this photo, my hand was lit by the light coming thru the deck door. It's not like I was going for photorealism with the drawing, but the light flip makes the two next to each other seem odd.
